Nurul Asiah, S.T., M.T. is a dedicated full-time lecturer at the Food Science and Technology Study Program, Bakrie University, where she has been serving since 2016. With a strong commitment to academic excellence, she actively contributes to the university’s core pillars of higher education: teaching, research, and community engagement.
Throughout her academic career, Nurul has been involved in various scholarly activities, presenting her work at national and international conferences and publishing widely in diverse formats. Her contributions include teaching modules, textbooks, scientific posters, peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals, monographs, reference books, and patent.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, Nurul is actively involved in professional organizations at the national level, where she plays an important role in the development of the field through leadership and collaboration. She also serves as a reviewer for several respected scientific journals and holds a position as an Editorial Board Member for one of national reputable journal.
Her research interests are Food Process Engineering and Sustainable Food Systems. In line with her commitment to sustainability, she is also actively engaged in food waste valorisation, focusing on transforming food by-products and waste into valuable ingredients, materials, or energy sources. Her work aims to promote circular economy principles within the food sector and contribute to long-term food security and environmental sustainability.
